Are you new to the Internet? Have you tried to use the Internet before but were unable to find what you were looking for? Ended up with nothing or thousands of unsuitable resources? This is a compilation of primarily UK relevant to Social Work and a good starting place to start browsing.

In the 'About' section you will find information about the history of this site and my reason for developing it. You will also find some details about myself and my current research. In the 'Links' section there are alphabetical listings of useful websites and other resources relevant to many areas of your work. There are "making contact" sections within the topic areas which will take you to online support groups, discussion forums etc. The 'Contacts' section will enable you to contact social work organisations, access mailing lists, newsgroups and chat rooms or participate in discussions on message boards including our own Virtual Social Work 'Message Board'. The 'Resources' section contains many other useful things such as search engines, information gateways, news services, on-line journals, careers services, online book stores, research and IT resources.
